If your GPS shows a wrong location, please try one of the following suggestions.

Sometimes you may find that you phone's GPS is a little or very inaccurate in terms of identifying your actual location.

Most of the time, this issue will resolve itself soon afterwards, but if not, you can try one of these solutions.

Proposed solutions for solving GPS issues

  1. Click on the location button on the Drive One map, which will center the map on your location
  2. Make sure that GPS is enabled on your phone.
    • On an iPhone, click Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services and ensure that Location Services is on.
    • On an Android, click Settings -> Location (or Security & Location) and ensure that Location is on.
  3. Turn the GPS on and off on your phone.
    • Follow the same steps as on step 2.
  4. Make sure that your phone is not set to flight mode.
    • On an iPhone, click Settings and ensure that Flight Mode is off.
    • On an Android, click Settings -> Connections and ensure that Flight Mode is off.
  5. Turn off your phone completely and restart it.
  6. Make sure that your phone has enough power remaining.
  7. Turn off battery saver/power saving mode in your phone's settings, under "Battery" (both iPhone and Android)

Please note:

The Drive One device does not have an integrated GPS unit - all location data is from your phone's GPS. This means that any issue with location is related to either your phone or the app.
